Welcome to CentreForCommons ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") dictate your engagement with our yacht charter services and the website at centreforcommons.sbs (the "Service") provided by CentreForCommons.
Committing to a charter arrangement or utilizing our Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms. Should you not consent to any segment of these terms, you should refrain from accessing the Service.
2. Service Overview
CentreForCommons offers an array of premium yacht charter services including, but not limited to:
- Daily yacht rentals
- Sunset cruises
- Corporate retreats
- Private events
- Multi-day charters
Our services are contingent upon availability and the prevailing weather situations. We possess the discretion to alter or cease offerings at our discretion.
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
To arrange a charter, you must:
- Attain a minimum age of 18 years
- Provide truthful and thorough information
- Render the required down payment as outlined in your reservation confirmation
- Consent to these Terms & Conditions
3.2 Confirmation
Confirmation of your reservation takes effect upon the receipt of your payment and our issuance of a confirmation notice. We retain the exclusive right to deny services to any individual at our own discretion.
3.3 Availability
Charter availability is ruled by vessel access and apt weather conditions. We will endeavor to accommodate your preferred scheduling.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
All service fees are presented in € and are inclusive of pertinent taxes unless declared otherwise. Prices are susceptible to modifications without prior notice.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: 50% of the total cost of the charter is due at the point of reservation
- Balance: Remitted 48 hours before the departure of the charter
- Other charges (if applicable): Settled post-charter completion
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept main credit cards, electronic bank transfers, and certified bank drafts. Transactions are processed using encrypted and secure channels.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- More than 72 hours prior to departure: Complete refund barring processing costs
- From 24 to 72 hours before departure: Half of the payment refunded
- Fewer than 24 hours to departure: Non-refundable
5.2 Weather Cancellations
In the instance of inclement weather considered unsafe by our captain, accommodation options include:
- Rescheduling the charter to a subsequent available slot without extra fees
- Issuing a full refund when rescheduling proves unfeasible
5.3 Mechanical Issues
Should mechanical difficulties arise with the designated vessel, we will endeavor to supply an appropriate alternative. Absent a replacement, a complete refund will be accorded.
6. Safety and Conduct
6.1 Safety Requirements
Passengers are obliged to:
- Obey all directions given by the crew
- Utilize safety equipment as necessary
- Disclose any medical concerns that may impinge on safety
- Stay within the assigned spaces on the vessel
6.2 Prohibited Items
The following are not allowed on board:
- Glassware
- Illegal substances
- Firearms or any form of weapon
- Abundance of beverages (surpassing reasonable personal consumption)
- Pets (except with pre-authorization)
6.3 Conduct
Passengers should maintain a courteous demeanor. Charters are subject to early conclusion without any refund if passenger conduct is perceived as hazardous or impinging upon the enjoyment of others.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Liability
Our responsibility is restrained to the amount tendered for your charter. We hold no accountability for:
- Bodily harm resulting from passenger carelessness
- The loss or harm to personal belongings
- Indirect, consequential, or punitive consequences
- Delays attributable to the weather or scenarios beyond our dominion
7.2 Insurance Coverage
Our operations and vessels are covered by comprehensive marine insurance. It is the passenger's duty to secure personal and travel insurance.
7.3 Assumption of Risk
By electing to participate in our charter services, you concede the intrinsic perils associated with maritime activities and assume accountability for your own safety and security.
8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes
Itinerary alterations, including routes or schedules, are reserved in the event of weather exigencies, safety demands, or operational necessities. Our objective remains to deliver comparable alternate experiences.
9. Force Majeure
We are exempt from liability for any delays, cancellations, or adjustments sparked by events outside our control, these include but are not confined to:
- Extreme weather events
- Natural calamities
- Regulatory impositions
- Seaport closures
- Technical malfunctions
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privileged information is handled pursuant to our Privacy Policy. Service use implies you consent to data collection and usage as elucidated in our Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual Property
