Kindly review this policy thoroughly before completing a booking. By reserving a yacht with CentreForCommons, you concur with and accept these refund conditions.
Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund except for service charges
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Service Charge: €50 for card payments
Conditions: Must be formally requested via electronic mail or telephone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half of the overall charter expense
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Service Charge: €25 subtracted from the refund amount
Conditions: Valid rationale needed; administrative costs incurred
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Refunds not available
Exceptions: Consideration for emergency situations possible
Preferences: Voucher for charter might be provided at managerial discretion
Conditions: Emergency claims need proof
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Assurance
Our main concern is safety. Should the sailing circumstances be seen as perilous by our certified captain, we'll present the following adaptable options:
- Full Refund: Given when rescheduling isn't viable
- Reschedule: Adjust your booking to a new date without extra costs
- Charter Credit: Issued with a 12-month validity from the original charter date
Weather Examination Protocol
We include the following in our weather analysis:
- An assessment of wind force and pattern
- Evaluation of wave stature and marine conditions
- Forecasts for visibility and precipitation
- Maritime advisories and proclamations
- A safety evaluation by a professional skipper
Decision Timeframe: Calls concerning weather-based cancellations are made at least 4 hours ahead of the planned departure.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Instances
We acknowledge that health crises may arise. These circumstances could be considered for extraordinary refund consultation:
- Unexpected affliction or harm necessitating hospitalization
- Bereavement in the immediate kin
- Militant deployment or sudden recall
- Jury commitment or legal summons
- Cataclysms affecting voyages
Proof Requirements
Emergency refund requests must be accompanied by:
- Medical validation or infirmary records
- Mortal remains certificate if it's pertinent
- Militant dispatch orders
- Court subpoena or jury duty documentation
- Emergency declarations or voyage advisories
Processing: Unforeseen refunds are managed within 3-5 business days upon receipt of appropriate proof.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Breakdowns
If the yacht allocated encounters unsolvable mechanical issues:
- Substitute Vessel: We will try to arrange an equivalent replacement
- Full Refund: Granted if a suitable replacement isn't procurable
- Partial Refund: Provided if the replacement yacht has differing rates
- Compensation: Extra compensatory measures might be granted for the inconvenience
Crew Unavailability
In the uncommon event that certified personnel can't be supplied:
- A substitute crew will be arranged when feasible
- Entire refund if the expedition cannot proceed
- Options to reschedule without incurring additional costs
Refund Administration
Reimbursement Mode
Refunds are administered to the same method originally utilized for the reservation:
- Cards: 5-7 business days
- Account Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash/Check: 3-5 business days
Administrative Charges
Card Transaction Costs
€50 fee for cancellations with notice exceeding 72 hours
Fiscal Transfer Fees
€25 fee for all account transfer refunds
Foreign Operation Fees
Extra charges might be applicable for cross-border transactions
Charter Vouchers
Credit Issuance Conditions
Vouchers for charters can be offered instead of monetary returns under certain situations:
- Eleventh-hour cancellations (under 24 hours notice)
- Charter scrappings due to weather
- Voluntary alteration requests
- Operational setbacks
Voucher Specifications
- Validity: Active for a year from the date of issue
- Transferrable: Cannot be switched to alternative parties
- Worth: Total value of the charter (excluded of administrative fees)
- Utilization: Applicable towards any upcoming yacht booking
- Non-extension: Not extendable past the span of a year
Recompense for Partial Services
Disruptions in Service
In case your charter is halted or curtailed due to reasons within our purview:
- Refund apportioned based on the unutilized duration
- Voucher equivalent to the unused portion for future use
- Gratuitous amenities or premium upgrades
Interruptions Caused by Guests
If a charter is prematurely concluded due to guest misbehavior or safety breaches:
- Non-refundable for the remainder period
- Complete payment remains obligatory
- Possible extra charges
Resolution of Disagreements
In case of dissent with a refund determination, you may:
- Submit for a reassessment by our oversight committee
- Supply additional corroboration or details
- Engage with consumer assistance agencies
- Consider accessible legal avenues in compliance with the law

Step 3: Evaluation and Action
We will acknowledge your claim within a day, evaluate as per these guidelines, reach a decision within two days, and process sanctioned refunds within the specified intervals.
Significant Reminders
- All requests for refunds must be made formally in writing
- Reimbursements are issued in €, independent of the initially used payment currency
- Purchasing traveler's coverage is advocated
- This document is revisable with a month's notice
- Refunds are subject to relevant legal levies and rules
